For a new business person--or, person in general
I am on the cusp of starting a small business. On a scale of 1 to 100 of things I know about business, I am a -3. I reached out to my mentor, a successful business person that I deeply trust for advice. He told me that my first step was to read "Evergreen Wisdom." I truly believe that he shared with me the diamond in the rough.
The authors are personable in this audiobook. I feel less like they are reading a book and more like they are speaking with me, I am sitting in the room with them. The last chapter really wrapped everything together with a recorded podcast with both of the authors bantering.
Business isn't all about plans, technical processes, and hustling, the authors point out. It's about you and what makes you happy in life. In the end, what matters most is that you were successful because you were happy and lived a life that made you and those around you better.
