Great Follow up!

Eight Years after Marlo's sudden disappearance from New Orleans, Ever and Marlo (Lo) cross paths again. The sparks are still there but so is a lot of baggage on both sides. There's enough angst and tension between these two to start a fire, and a fire it did start!
But both have secrets and pieces of their lives which they are not willing to share just yet, and that leads to devastation.
The follow up was enjoyable to read. Neva Navarre and Jeremy York kept the angst and livelihood from the previous book going with the added maturity of the eight-year gap.

Beautiful, Perfect Conclusion!

I couldn't wait to find out what happened to Lo and Ever after the stunning and heartbreaking ending in the first book. Ever Over After is a beautiful, heart-wrenching, wonderful story of forgiveness, redemption, hope, and second chances. It takes place 8 years later when Lo and Ever unexpectedly cross paths again. Now that Ever has found her again, he will do whatever it takes to earn her forgiveness and win her back. But broken trust is hard for Lo to forgive and forget. Plus she has her own demons that might be too much for them overcome. We learn so many heartbreaking revelations, but that is what makes them the strong, resilient, caring people they are today and the champions of those who are suffering now. I loved their story so much. It is not an easy and simple reconciliation, but one that is honest, and true, giving it a strength to last a lifetime. Neva Navarre, and Jeremy York continue to bring these wonderful characters to life. I love their accents, and their different voices for all the friends and family were impressive. Their flawless performance made this emotional romance even more breathtaking. I loved the ending so much that it brought me to tears, made me laugh out loud, and had me totally swooning. I loved this whole series and group of friends and am sorry to say goodbye. But this was the perfect conclusion and it left me feeling so happy for all of their HEA's!

Five freaking fabulous stars!

I fell in love with Marlo in Hope Over Fear and my love affair with this saucy lady only grew stronger. I was worried about how this duet would end, but I should have trusted this author to poetically and perfectly give Marlo and Ever the ending they deserve. Love the narration and how authentic this story set in New Orleans sounds from start to finish. You will need some Cafe au Lait and beignets for this book hang over!

Love this Series!

I have loved every single of these books (I read them all) and now I've listened to them all as audio books and it is my favorite series. That being said, the narrator for Marlo is absolutely perfect and I feel like I am right there in this story and feeling every single emotion that she is feeling. I can't say enough good things about the stories in these books as well as the narrators. It's all amazing!!!
