All Sharon ever wanted was to be loved. She was discarded by her drug addicted mother and forced into the foster care system for half of her life. She knew what it felt like to be abused and treated like garbage. She was treated that way her whole life.

As Sharon blossoms into a young woman, she decides it is time to take care of herself. Along the way, she finds herself in dicey predicaments. But what else would you expect from a young woman who only knew trouble. Maybe once she finds the love she was looking for, things might finally start to fall into place for her.

Interesting short story

The storyline was interesting. It was good to see Sharon build up the confidence to push forward and not let her past hinder her success.

The narration was awful and without feeling. I would have enjoyed hearing the voices or tone of voice change up with each character to make them more distinguishable.

Loved the characters

The plot has some unexpected twists, and the main character is strong and resilient; hope that we get more if her in future stories.

This inner city tale about Sharon an abused woman who finds her self in one maligned relationship after another is well written as it and allows the reader/listener to experience triumphs and disappointments alongside the author.

Ioved this story line a lot it’s storyline is something many young women can relate to.
