Beautiful Pieces Part II

WOW....I thought Erik's Salvation was a beautiful love story, but this second book just layers on the deep love relationship between Erik and Hannah. They are two of the most beautifully broken characters I've ever read and, although I'm not a fan of great unrelenting angst, here it is almost necessary to illustrate the depth of these characters.

Again, Nyssa ends the book with a cliffhanger although it was a little more obvious than the one in the first book. It will be interesting to see how she wraps up the whole story in the final book of the trilogy which I'm greatly looking forward to reading and hearing. Narrators Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton (two of my favorites) take Nyssa's awesome story and make it awesome plus!

Beautiful vocal performances, suspenseful story...

In Book 1 of Nyssa Kathryn's Beautiful Pieces trilogy, Erik's Salvation, sweet, sunshiny Hannah, determined to overcome her trauma and brokenness, has fallen for Erik, the grumpy former Marine next door. Despite his own traumatic past, Erik has finally opened himself up to love again, unable to resist the pull of his beautiful, younger neighbor. By the end of Book 1, their new found love has thus far withstood the test of secrets and danger, but Kathryn leaves us in suspense with a breathtaking revelation at the end.

Book 2, Erik's Redemption, begins with the secret kept that will test the strength of Erik and Hannah's bond and threaten their tenuous love. Will they be able to conquer the remnants of their past that continue to jeopardize the security and safety of not just their relationship, but also their very lives? Will their love withstand the struggles and peril in which our Hannah and Erik consistently find themselves? And once the present danger is seemingly over, what new secrets and revelations might further endanger the stability of their union?

A riveting and suspenseful small town age-gap romance, this sweet, spicy, and angsty tale is made all the more gripping by the remarkable voice talents of Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton.

Reprising their roles as Hannah and Erik from Book 1, Bloom and Hamilton continue with their amazing vocal chemistry, delivering strong performances as not just the MCs, but also various side characters. Bloom's sweet and vulnerable Hannah and Hamilton's protective yet embattled Erik kept me on the edge of my seat, chewing on my proverbial paper cup.

Nyssa Kathryn's continued collaboration with Blue Nose Audio is a match made in heaven for my listening ears. I look forward to the conclusion of this trilogy and to a happily ever after for both Hannah and Erikin Book 3.

NOTE: In my opinion, the full enjoyment of this story can best be achieved by listening to /reading Book 1. I highly recommend it.

Exciting!

I loved the intensity of this book and the love gets even stronger between Erik and Hannah. Other characters come into play and the storyline gets more complex. Definitely looking forward to the next book since this ends in a cliffhanger

Too many bad guys after one person-Hannah. Also, the fact that Eric was “adamant” about not wanting kids was strange because he was convincing that he couldn’t live without hannah-Humm ……so he’d leave her for wanting a child!?
