I hope this an early book

I struggled with this. Not only is the narrator AWFUL but the story is just too stupid to live. My eyes rolled so hard they went out of my head. The best thing I can say is that it amused me on a long drive. YMMV.

Enjoyable

This was a good narration of a book I'd previously enjoyed reading and I recommend it highly

Great love story

Bryony and Rafael , one of a great series, love this book, loved this author, great love , lost and found!!!

Boring yet irritating

This story was extremely boring. It started out strong and seemed like it had potential, but quickly became extremely tedious.

And then there is the fact that Rafael is just an awful person that we are supposed to believe miraculously is a changed person in a week or so, which makes no sense since he had plenty of time previously to have changed if he wanted to. But he sucks. His behavior was psychopathically lacking in empathy and frankly evil. It just made the happy ending completely unbelievable.

Don’t recommend this. It was a waste of time.

Disappointing

Note: This is book 1 in Maya Bank’s Pregnancy & Passion series. (The titles were shortened at one point for a print/ebook rerelease). While each book covers the entire arc for a single couple – references to events are made as the series goes on that makes these best listened to in order.

Meh. It wasn’t that good, but I didn’t DNF. There’s a LOT of book here, but it’s repetitive dialogue and not much of it works to truly redeem Rafe or prove he’s permanently a changed man. Bryony is a strong woman, except for the fact that she sort of puts up with Rafe’s nonsense.

Grand gesture and then bam, all is forgiven. Ends on a HFN, but there are updates on them as the series continues.

Narration:
I like Harry Berkeley’s narration. However, I think he’s a better fit for her romantic suspense (KGI series). I do like all his character voices and emotions.
