Pleasant Enough Book

The story was alright, it could have more of a stronger plot. There were so many other things going on I would have to stop and think about it to remember. This author has a basicly good story line, but has to much irreverent stuff going on.
Narrator does a Grand job of the various characters voices and the entire storyline.

Do you ever really know what a person is capable of, or what triggers them or drives them??? I'm convinced we never really know what makes another person tick or do the things they do. I didn't like Luke's ex because she was heartless and mercenary. I was shocked at the twisted path this took. Victor was a bundle of secrets and he sadly paid a steep price. Luke is pretty adept at PI work , so here's hoping that lucky streak continues. I enjoyed the ride. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Not bad

The narrator did an excellent job, the storyline wasn’t exactly what I. Was expecting. Could have been a bit stronger on the plot. But over all, it was good.

A whip smart mystery

Received an audio copy from the narrator to review, this is an honest review. Narrator Grant Love wonderfully brings to life a gritty mystery as business partners and friends Luke and Victor are about to achieve a great deal that could change their lives forever. And Luke, desperately needs his deal to happen as his marriage is collapsing around him with this wife demanding Luke provide her the kindle of living she believed she has earned when she supported him as he work to get business off the ground. When Victor is ruthlessly murdered... all Luke wants to know is why. As the truth is brought into the light, Luke discovers much more secrets about a man he thought he knew and wants to make a murderer play for the hell that was unleashed.

Highly recommended.

Page Turner

This audiobook was exciting with mom-stop action. This series is based in South Africa with descriptions of places in the city. Grant Love did a great job with the narration.

Interesting beginning for a PI

So much was happening at the same time in this book, that it could be a little distracting. A marriage falling apart, a business partner murdered, a dream falling apart, and people you knew becoming strangers. Loved that the scene was set in South Africa, it makes for a lovely location. And all the food and coffee❤️❤️ MC made some kinda stupid choices that could have ended very badly, but resulted in him making friends rather than enemies (or losing his life), so it works out in the end. Looking forward to author growth. Grant Love was a star!

This book was good. I hard a hard time with the narrator. Hard to understand
