Layman pulp fiction but entertaining

It is obvious that the author has a great deal of knowledge about the subject but with the exception of the information concerning bunkers and modern off-the-shelf preparation food sources and commercial items that are shamelessly plugged through the book much of the tactical information is a bit dated especially where concerned with some of the medical procedures but even with that I find this series of books fun to listen to while pumping out endless rounds at the reloading bench or sharpening knives or preparing a kit I love the attention that he gives the local communities and the development of many of his characters although sometimes it can be a little shallow end overly simplified with good versus evilAnd miss trust of the government which probably isn’t a bad thing

really enjoyed the story line in this series, lots of great facts and techniques to add to youur own prepping scenario.

good story, keep an ear out for things y have, don't have and situations they run into. they give a lot of information on necessities.

A great read while I wait for the real thing

I just like this series. Not to complicated. It's easy to listen to at work with my ear plugs in. Makes the days go by so much faster.

Beginnngs

Hopefully the saga of Shaun and Maria and their friends and family has only just begun. Well done and factual work from Jonathan Hollerman. This has been a great series to listen too. Bring the series on...Thanks!

Great conclusion

I had no idea how he was going to conclude this story but he did a good job of it.

Jonathan Hollerman’s best work so far!

Loved this book. The story was engaging and while it continued the story of previous characters in the series, it introduced new ones and certainly new plot twists.

What made the experience of listening to EMP: Equipping Modern Patriots: New Beginnings the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed where this story went, the story line was a bit darker to match the situations that Sean, his family and the Col were put into. Jonathan gives you a very good sense of what CAN happen if/when this type of event occurs.

What was one of the most memorable moments of EMP: Equipping Modern Patriots: New Beginnings?

I enjoyed the whole story, the growth of the characters really added to the plot

Which character – as performed by B.J. Harrison – was your favorite?

Willy - Really identified with a man like that, reminded me of my uncle who served in the 1st Infantry Div during vietnam. He kinda walked like a ghost but had a heart of a Saint - the ultimate "Grey Man".

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I enjoy Jonathans writing, its not the "Doomsday Prepper" story line we are all use to. Rather it allows the reader/listener to walk along with the characters and get a sense of what choices may need to be made to survive and in some ways thrive in what would be horrible situation. Looking forward to the next installment of EMP: Equipping Modern Patriots, maybe tagged "Coming Together" Cheers

Great read, no bad language, no sex, refreshing

the story was easy to follow. the narrator was perfect. much better than the narrator in book 1. worth every penny.

everything by Hollerman is worth reading. prepare in peace si you can act in chaos.
