Sobbing at the laundromat

Jeez I should have read the warnings before listening to the epilogue as I started ugly crying while doing laundry. I got used to the female VA’s weird Irish lilt meets American accent after initially being put off. I did forward through a couple parts but listened to almost all of it and found such a beautiful love story. I’m glad I gave it a chance even though I wasn’t prepared for all these emotions!

Such a surprise

This book is a gem. I loved everything about it. Great world building, great story, great characters, great narration. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book. Coming back to review after I have read/listened to 12 more books. I read/listen so much that so many good stories blend together. This one really stands out as memorable. Beautifully done.

My TBR never fails me

I had this book in my TBR pile for a while. Boy I'm glad I finally decided to listen to it. What a really interesting story line with great characters. Although I will say I liked the male voice better than the women voice her voice was a little too slow for my tastes so I sped it up and it was much better. This doesn't have anything to do with the book however, that was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Loved everything about this book. Beautifully written and the duet narration was exceptional. Highly recommend it.
