Reliably Wonderful Books
After reading The Keeper Chronicles I could not wait for more books from JA Andrews and I will tell you she does not disappoint! Another wonderful book that really makes you feel for the characters. I was soured by the ending not because it was poorly written, but because it was so well written and narrated that I felt as hopeless as Sable! I couldn't wait for the next book and was dreading not knowing what would become of these characters. Also, Kate Reading is an absolutely wonderful narrator. I often will avoid certain books I would otherwise find interesting because the narrators voice is too pitchy or monotonous etc., but Kate Reading's inflections, characters differentiations, and alto voice made this an even more wonderful read.

Only reason is is given a 4..
Is because there were times I was kind of lost and couldn't really follow the story. However I feel as though if I was reading it book in hand it wouldn't have been that way.
The story was great, I'll absolutely pick up the next two. The last few hours of this book had me hooked and hope others enjoy it as well.

What a ride!
I really enjoyed this book, highly recommend first reading the keeper chronicles as they are in a collection for just one credit and were one of my favorite reads this year. This book doesn’t reach the heights of the trilogy in my opinion, but is still good enough to get a strong recommendation from me. You may want to wait for more to come out however as the ending to this book is honestly really awful and disappointing which is why I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5. The payoff was just not what I wanted and was even more disappointing coming out of the keeper chronicles which were so tight and satisfying to read. The plot does plod along for a while but the characters are enjoyable and fun to spend time with. Overall a great read!

loved it
it seems a little slow when it started, but by the time I got to the end I didn't want it to stop. the Cliffhanger makes me want to continue the story right away anxious to know when the next one will be available. great read love the characters.
