Excellent

I loved the story, but am a bit dissatisfied. The narrators were brilliant and did a wonderful job. That said, it takes the entire book, including the climax, to finally see what is hinted at in the description. It’s not bad, but I wanted to see how she copes with the aftermath, not only the buildup to it.

Overall, an excellent read for the young reader or listener.

The next great urban fantasy series is here!

I don't know how else to describe my love for this book. It hit all the notes I love to see in a classic urban fantasy novel, and I can't wait to see more entries in the series.

A wonderful surprise

I purchased this book accidentally and decided to give it a go. It has a wonderful storyline with many twists and turns. It is also an excellent lesson on anxiety and fear, and how they can prevent you from becoming your best.
I especially enjoyed the inflections in narration. It gave more emotion and life to the audible story. I will definitely share this book with my young teens.

Looking forward to book 2.

Dragon girl book without an actual dragon girl

By the time I finished this book, I HATED the MC. I can’t think of a single redeemable trait and found myself rooting for both her bully and the antagonist.
Plus she does not actually turn into a dragon for 95% of this book

I really wish I had just DNF’d this.
