The war has arrived. Lukrim lured human brides with lies and pretty propaganda, and they will stop at nothing to keep them.
Amira Wicslaw knows this, and she’s still doing what she can to help foment an underground resistance on Lukrim itself. The women at her side were lured to Lukrim with false promises of fresh air, in exchange for their ability to reproduce with the blue aliens. Amira is doing everything she can to keep them out of sight and out of mind, even from their spouses. It’s a relief that most of the time, her own mates of 20 years want nothing to do with her.
Jaxim is a military veteran, sworn to do everything he can to end the Lukrimian threat so the humans can be rescued, but when he meets the human woman running the resistance, his usual MO of "sneak in, sneak out" takes on a whole new meaning. Amira has thrown her own safety entirely out the window to keep her people safe, and she reminds Jaxim too fiercely of his own long-lost mate.
As the lead on his strike team, Jaxim is the one who destroys alien strongholds, but Amira has completely undermined the one around his heart. They are going to have to work together to get Jaxim, his team, and the human hostages out of the line of fire before the war destroys everything they hold dear.

Amira and Jaxim
Amira entered the bride program twenty years ago. Now she is trying to help other brides escape their husbands. Jaxon is the leader of the Republic strike force. There are many great characters and lots of action in this story. Anastasia Lynne was brilliant is her narration of this audiobook. She portrayed all characters wonderfully.

The Ragrim Conflict
Nessa Claugh wrote an amazing book. Anastasia Lynne did an amazing job on the narration. Double Crossing the Alien is the fourth book in the Ragrim Conflict series. Each book can be a standalone. Well the true comes out. Most of the Lukrimian only see humans females as incubators for their offspring. But there are some of the Lukrimian who don’t see humans females that way and they want to help rescue some of them, before there is a full out war. The human females might be in the middle of it.I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.
