So many wonderful twists and turns

Every new story is as good or better than the last. I just love this Author's sense of humor and the way she keeps the story plot interesting. The narrator nails the personalities of all the characters and makes the story even more fun.

Another hilarious book

Where does Gretchen Archer come up with these names? Roy Howdy?! I laugh out loud listening to this book. It was fun to have one set someplace different than the casino.

It really wasn't all her fault

Disaster seems to seek out Davis. she doesn't cause it, but seems to think that she has failed. Truth is only she could have figured out a way to get things back to normal. Of course her loyalty to friends and colleagues can make life more complicated for her.

Love the story, the outrageous characters and situations andbthe gentle playfulness with deep South humor!

Another great addition to the series

Gretchen Archer has continued her wonderful storyline in this latest installment in the Davis Way Mystery series. All the usual characters are present and accounted for as well as laugh out loud humor and a mystery to boot.

Amber Benson, as always gave a standout performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.

I highly recommend this book/audiobook and series to cozy mystery fans. I also suggest starting with the first book in this series.
