Suddenly, Champion is haunted again, only this time it's by a team of expert killers who want to make sure he never finds the truth: the truth about the dead child who wanders through his imagination; the truth about the lover who inhabits his dreams; and the truth about a killer who has been on the run - in the wind - for a lifetime.

The ghosts of the dead are all around him, and Champion has to find out who murdered them, fast, or he could become one of them himself.

great plot, great narration. really good detective mystery that keeps you listening for hours on end.

Reality or a dream? Flashback or Hallucination?

A Killer in the Wind is a cunning, wild ride through haunting hallucinations and the hearts of evil men. The puzzle pieces within this mystery are largely scattered amongst the recessed memories of one detective. I finished this one a lot faster than I intended to. Couldn't help it.

Andrew Klavan is one of the most involving novelists in the business today, and he is an exceptional narrator as well.

Pulse Raising

Mister Klavan's writing, as well as his narration, is explosive and mesmerizing. It is as if one is watching a well a well directed motion picture. He creates the cinematography in one's imagination. The reader is projected into the lives and difficulties of the author's characters.

Another great crime novel from Klavan

Klavan is the GOAT when it comes to writing crime novels. This one is also excellent and is very well written. It has a very gothic tone to the novel and an almost Brothers Grimm mood to the tale. A great book in his already excellent bibliography.
