This book creeps back into my life at the right times

The first time I came across this audiobook was when I was contemplating a career change (which ended up becoming a mandatory career change after being let go). The information and execution in this book gave me inspiration and a better understanding of what it would take me to do my own “Do Over”. Currently, I am doing another “Do Over” and have re-listened to the entire audiobook to help refresh my knowledge and give me that push again.

Highly recommend for those who, like me, are hitting a career ceiling or in need to change jobs/careers.

The perfect way to better yourself.

Jon Acuff is a brilliant writer and an even better narrator. Every joke is delivered perfectly and had me entertained at every turn. The content barely even applies to me as I am happy at my job, find fulfillment out of it, and have only up to go. Yet, I still am building a career savings account and listening to the great words of wisdom given by Mr. Acuff. I feel like Jon and I could be great friends just by listening to him speak, this is how I wish all these kinds of books were written. 5/5 highly recommend.

the entire series is good

Although not necessarily in full do over mode, got lots of good ideas and key points from this book. I also enjoy his humor and relatability. Great read.

not for me

I just couldn't get into it, mind kept wandering. after about 5 minutes I gave up.

nothing but inspiring! the book help remove fear out of my vocabulary and encourages me to just do it !Go for it! I can I am ,what I say I am I will do what I say I would do and I'm doing it today!

Encouraging, Interesting and Easy Listening

I enjoyed that the author narrated his own book. I feel a story resonates better when told in first person and is the authentic person. I liked the info and would listen again. I felt the listening flowed pretty easily. I like how Jon asks you to check back in with him after you apply the principals and report your successes!
