great book

this is a great book with so many cool tools that you can use for redirecting your kids and disciplining them well. it definitely gave me ideas about being a more safer parent and checking myself over making sure that I'm making good decisions and showing a good example to my kids

I love listening to Jim & Lynn share all of these resources and the Connected Families Framework. As a mom of 3 I found this very supportive and helpful parenting guidance.

Must Read (or listen)

I would highly recommend this book to all parents seeking to use wise and effective discipline with their children to build into them godly character. They made some very important points I had not considered before, even helping me to understand some of the feelings I’d had as a child when facing discipline for specific events. The last half of the book is completely practical application which I found SO helpful.

Every parent should read it

I loved all the practical suggestions and how it continuously points to the gospel. It has the much needed nuance that other Christian parenting resources are sadly lacking

Best Parenting Book I’ve read in a long time

I’ve listened to this book twice. I recommend it to ALL my Mom friends. So many times I had to stop it and think about what I just heard. This book makes you think about what kind of parenting legacy you want your kids to remember. Did you point them to Christ or to a get away from God as soon as they moved out?

Excellent resource

Learned a lot! Already implementing in our home with our 2 & 4 yr old. We seen a difference. I think this is a book churches should provide to ppl at baby dedications. It’s so good!

Most encouraging & godly discipline

The discipline discussed in this book rings so true to the "Father heart" of God and, of course then, to Scripture. The transparency shared by the authors is so encouraging.
