Ashley, Chad, and Jase are characters who appeared in my Sainthood Series. It is not necessary to listen to that series to enjoy Dirty Crazy Bad. Fans of The Sainthood Series will enjoy cameos from the main characters in this book.

I’ve wanted to experience Siobhan Davis’s writing for a while now so when the opportunity came up by Literally Yours PR to listen and review this duet, I was all in. Between my new(ish) found love for all things audio and my want to experience her writing, it was a no brainer.

Well, that was … interesting aaaaaaand one very long “wait, what in the actual …” experience! And you know what, I was riveted! So riveted, in fact, that it took me almost a week to listen to this entire part of the duet because I paused at every turn to absorb and to highlight with #kindleunlimited companion ebook! I wanted to keep up and not miss a single thing or name for that matter! The who was who and the what was what is intricate and as a first-time reader of this author, I wanted to pay attention because I knew after just listening to the prologue that I wouldn’t stop with this author.

This story lives up to its title in the most perfect of ways because yes, it is dirty, crazy, and very very bad! LOL And bad in a way where literally everyone is not quite who you think they are and have a little bit bad (but maybe not) in them, they and the storyline are both crazy in a ”what is even happening right now?” kind of way, and dear sweet holy girlie bits, it’s all dirty, even when it’s borderline cringy!! ;)

The build-up and unfolding of the storyline are addictive, wild and ridiculously gritty. It builds from the very beginning and also unfolds. Passion is limitless and boundless and drives the story. Not only are the characters passionate but so is the storyline. There’s a lot more going on within these pages than just a ”reverse harem romance journey” and I am here for ALL of it and then some! I cannot wait to start on part two, but I might need a minute! ;)

Narration: This was also my first experience with both narrators, Ramona Master & Michael Gallagher and I have to say that I am ridiculously impressed with Michael’s versatility. He narrated all the characters distinctly which is no easy feat given we have more than a couple MMCs in the story. Well done! I wasn’t impressed at first by Ramona’s narration at first, but when the story itself took over, I got used to it and it all turned out well.

The sex, the betrayal, the scandal, OH MY!!!!

Warning. This book is not for most. But this is one of the best books I have ever read! It’s a mix of a thriller, story of multiple betrayals, steamy, sex, dying to see what happens next! Just understand that this is not vanilla, so if rape, aggressive, sex, gun violence, really triggers, you, this is not for you! But if you want a book that you cannot put down, or cannot stop, listening to, this is it! I scream so many times in shock, because I could not guess that that would’ve happened next. 

Be prepared for a ride!

DARK DARK DARK. This is book one of a duet and it will send you through EVERY SINGLE EMOTION. I’m still mad about this book oh my goodness. If you like dark why choose romances that have angst, tropes galore & an overall mind blowing but dark plot then this is for you. Im not even gonna say anything else besides hot dang just go read it.

Dark and twisty

i have read this book, and now listened to it. It was even darker listening to it. The cliffhanger was brutal. Originally, I was trying to come up with an ending to get a quicker HEA knowing it's impossible to do so. I just couldn't get the story out of my head. Siobhan Davis is an excellent author. She writes well with complex storylines and intriguing characters. Honestly, the characters were hard for me like. I hated them, liked them, loved them, all rolled together. As the story unfolded, so did my opinions. This book it dark and twisted. I absolutely cannot wait to listen to the next book.

Michael Gallagher and Ramona Master are excellent narrators. They brought this book to life with emotional performances. The duet narration is perfection for this audiobook.

Dark and intense

The title Dirty Crazy Bad perfectly summarized this brilliant and twisted reversed harem romance. The complicated situations, secrets agendas, and tangled of emotions pull me deeply into their depraved universe from the first page. I truly enjoyed every minute of this crazy ride and I’m eagerly waiting for the second book. Please be warned that this might be the darkest book penned to date by the author and it is not for the faint of heart.

I loved the duet narration and the performances were perfection.
