Mistake in part 16

Part 16 is wrong. It repeats eand twice over.
A tiny editors mistake, can be easily mended.

Not bad

Good story, good narration, nice end to the series. Definitely worth a listen if you've already listened to the first two.

Great story

I thought this was a great story. The narrator was good was well. I hope more are planned for the future.

decent overall, many names are pronounced wrong

i really enjoyed the story, altho the performance was somewhat off for me. the voice har makes when angels or demons talk are not even close to how they sound in game. also u think it was in chapter 16 when the same page is read twice

If you're a fan of the games youll love this trollgy.
Angels, Demona, and Humans caught in the middle.
And the rise of the Nephalim.
Heck, you'll love it no matter what.

Overall Good Trilogy

For the most part this was a good trilogy to be introduced to the Diablo franchise. The story was involved, the characters were complex and well fleshed out, and the flow wasn’t choppy or sporadic.
My only critique lies with the narration, specifically there were some inconsistencies with the selection of “voices” given to some characters. At times certain characters were portrayed in one manner, however as the story progressed you could hear those same characters having different enunciations and/or vocal intonations. Not that this is detrimental to the story, but it did create momentary confusion. Understandably, one person acting out several characters is extremely difficult.

Enjoyable

An enjoyable listen. Especially for a fan of the Diablo games. While book three is probably the low point of the trilogy for me, it's nevertheless a good time. I was quite impressed with the performance by the reader and the many voices, tones and inflections he used for all the characters. unfortunately that did cause some inconsistencies in how characters sound throughout the book and the series. not wholly unexpected as it's quite a bit for one voice, but noticeable enough to cause some brief confusion.

Good story, bad narration

I really wanted to enjoy this trilogy more, but I never got past the awful narration. Characters sounded like parodies of themselves, imitated by someone who doesn’t understand them. It felt like listening to a young child put on a performance. I don’t mean any disrespect to the narrator, but the performances were the worst I’ve ever heard in something that I paid for. Extremely disappointing knowing how good the voice acting is in the games and even some of the other books like Legacy of Blood. If you want to enjoy this series, read it yourself instead of getting the audiobook. I’d love to listen to the series again with good narration.
