Another great performance from Josh Clark! Fun premise of a story, but this doesn't scream Diablo in any stretch of the imagination. This story could have taken place in any fantasy realm and doesn't really capitalize on the rich and established world of Sanctuary. Plus, immersion is hard when two of the main characters are named "Darrick" and "Mat." I guess Chad and Kyle were taken. Still worth a listen.

Loved this book, and Josh Clark brings it to life! The story can lag a little at times, but mostly because it's easy to get anxious about what's coming, that i get impatient. Overall, amazing book, great narrator, and well worth getting.

The story and voice acting are good. The problem I had was the audio quality, it would crackle annoyingly at certain vocal ranges of the actor. I redownload twice but it never solved the issue. I assume it is the file.

Josh Clark is amazing at reading the story. the story itself is good, but his way of telling it is amazing.

Very good character development, and a more complex premise then what is in the other books in the trilogy. Not to say the other books are bad, but I think the Black Road really strikes at the balance of good and evil that so encapsulates the Diablo universe. Like the other books, this story could have used more or better female characters, but otherwise very enjoyable.

Based on a game franchise doesn't usually carry much in the way of quality. I did very much enjoy this book. It stood higher than my expectations.
