I had a mate once upon a time. I’d almost Ascended, until I lost him. He's dead, and I'm the one to blame. I made the biggest mistake of my life. There's no going back from it. I was stupid and naive and I regret the decision I made so long ago. I’m now a mother and will no longer trust anyone but myself. I will not be controlled by my duty.

In the end, it is Ascension that will unite dark and light. Descension will lead the realm to pure chaos and the regression of the bond that started it all.

Now that is an ending

I really enjoyed this series. I struggled and fast forward through some of Volume 1 part 2, but Volume 2 makes EVERYTHING worth it. the characters all stayed true to themselves and you found out so much about their past. I don't want to give anything away, but I can't see anyone not loving this ending and feeling like it was wrapped up perfect for these characters and this series. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this author in the future

Wow! What a great series!

This book was the end of the series and what a great ending it was. Yolanda Hatcher needs to write more books. She has a great imagination and story telling abilities. Navigators were also wonderful and perfect for this book.

Amazing!!! Epic ending to a fabulous story!!

I loved this story SO SO much! I am not usually a fantasy listener but I started with volume one for my review group and fell in love! Yolanda Hatcher wrote an amazing story that will stay with me forever. I am so sad that its over now! My fingers are crossed for future books!! I dont want to give anything away here so I will be short with this review but please if you havent already start with book 1 right away! The narration is perfect, the characters are perfect and the story is incredibly written. I cannot say enough about it! Loved every second!

Fantastic Romantic Adventure!

Wow! What a series! I absolutely devoured these books. The twists and turns were sometimes very frustrating! I was routinely upset with how characters reacted to something or the choices they made, or the unfairness of outcomes, but oh so glad I didn't put it down. Again - Wow! Excellent world building, rich history, complex characters, and stellar performances made this one of my favorite listens of 2020 so far. I look forward to more in the series, in this world. Jason Clarke is amazing, as usual, but all of the narrators delivered excellent performances! I wholeheartedly recommend this series!

This was so worth the wait! it exceeded all my expectations. The series is everything! I really hope there is more to come.
