Wonderful Read! With the state of the world we are in there is so much pain, bait, and sadness. Even genuine happy people these events can really break you down and steal your joy. Stasi’s book revived the hope inside of me of being Defiantly Joyful, not denying the occurrences and situations but defiantly deciding to be joyful through the pain - and provided so much relief that I don’t have to do it all! Even in my darkest hours, all I have to do is choose to be joyful, and He fulfills the rest as I look to Him instead of my situation.

loved it. I would listen to the chapter and then read my physical book later to highlight. so many good nuggets in this book and heart felt stories. I live when the author reads the book, you hear their struggle, passion and expression so clearly.

a good addition

This is an excellent addition to your Stasi Eldredge library. Read by the author, thank goodness. you may need to buy a hard copy also so you can highlight the messages that speak to you. In my case practically entire chapters. This book touches on things not common in Christianity like boundaries and benevolent detatchment. Definitley recommend!

This book changed my life.

This book resonated with my heart so deeply. I related to it with my own feelings and experiences and learned so incredibly much throughout. God blessed and spoke to me so much through this book. I’m so happy I read it. Listening to this was an amazing experience especially as Stasi narrates her own book. Please read and/or listen to this if you feel you need to learn about and have more joy in any capacity. I think that this could help transform anyone.
