Susan Stoker did it again. Defending Morgan kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put it down. It is definitely a must read!!!

Defending Morgan

Archer, aka Arrow, was on a mission to rescue a child who had been kidnapped when he and the team found Morgan. She had been kidnapped a year ago and no one had known why or who did this. Just getting her out of Santo Domingo was a challenge. There were too many who were involved in keeping her captive. But once they were back in the US the Mountain Mercenaries were bound and determined to find out why she was taken and by whom. There were many suspects to go through. And it seems she was followed to Colorado after all. Her past trauma of captivity was on going but her feelings for Archer made her confused about many things. Will his feelings for her help heal her enough for her to trust another man? The narration on this story was intriguing enough that I listened till the end.

One intense story

This is one intense story that I had to finish. Morgan and Arrow are a great match. Morgan needed a special man and he is it. After Morgan's rescue, the question is who would hate someone so much that they put her in this private hell? The story stays intense to the end when we find out who it is. Wow. The story is a winner for Ms. Stoker.

I just love this series.

Susan Stoker is an amazing writer. I love the way her characters are strong and independent and down to earth. the rack of the story lines I have listen to and it keeps me coming back for more.

Excellent story/series. Each book makes me want to read more. Susan Stoker is now one of my favorite authors.

Amazing story

Really loved this book. It has mystery, intrigue, romance, and a touch of spice. I really love Stoker’s books.  Can’t wait to read the next one

Arrow and Morgan are star crossed soul mates! AHHH! Their story was amazing and heartfelt! ( I loved this entire book!) My heart went out to both but especially Morgan! She is made of steel!

Arrows character is: honorable, humble and understanding
Morgan is: tough as nails, super intelligent & caring

Their adventure stars out in the jungle and is a roller coaster ride from start to finish! EKKK!

ONE GREAT BOOK!

Morgan and Arrow

I liked Morgan’s character. She is one strong lady. She and Arrow click well and while there is desire, he has amazing patience and support while she comes to terms with all she has endured.

The reason for her trauma and kidnapping, as well as the strange events following her rescue, is the result of someone completely unhinged. The discovery of who is behind it all will surprise to a point, but the lengths to which they’ll go and why is 🤯🤯🤯🤯.

Enjoyed the narrator in the audio book.

Took me by surprise!...but not too hard to believe....:) I'm estranged from my mom....It was hard for me to believe at first that a mother could do this to their offspring....but I was used a an entrapment tool....and I was also kidnapped as a child and survived....physically....as I grew up in my childhood I realized that when it came to me or my mom's love I was always second, maybe....when I run into people who've a special relationship with their mom, it's hard for them to understand my relationship with mine. yea I wouldn't be human if I wasn't jealous of people who have a great relationship....but it just hurts sometimes the way people think of me. Always questions "Wonder why her mom doesn't love her?" "Is she able to be a mom herself?" and on and on....I really appreciate this story because I could identify with it....in a lot of ways....especially the really great parts like a wonderful man....:) I am married to a wonderful Peter Pan with a brilliant & beautiful daughter and I love being a mom.... Oh and thank you so much for the info. at the end of the book. :)

Another engrossing story!

Susan Stoker is an absolute automatic download for me. Always look forward to a new book. I really enjoy her style of writing and the characters she creates.
