As above, so below. While i think the arguments made by the author are absolutely true and necessary it begs the question: "How likely is this to be realized at a time where the government owns 10% of Intel.?" When politics is allowed to influence business to the extent we are seeing today, then the culture and consequently it's Purpose claims are defined by an outside force, and likely one that doesn't have the interest of multiple stakeholders in mind. It takes enormous leadership courage to hold firm to one's purpose and we are seeing way too many examples of cowardice. I don't think Russian and Hungarian companies will have much use for this book.

Inspirational read with tools to improve purpose!

Deep Purpose was an inspirational read providing tools to examine and implement improved purpose! I was able to immediately implement ideas for a non-profit organization that I run. Thank you Dr. Gulati!

Every business leader and everyone who aspires to be a business leader should read AND absorb this book. A researched based practical guide to creating winning companies that have the potential to show the world what “the next chapter of capitalism” needs to look like.

I kept on waiting for it to get to the point...

I kept on waiting for it to get to the point, bu it just kept on rambling about anecdotes without any clear guidance or actions to follow

Could not listen to this, lots of jargon, no relatable value. Get to a point - anything actionable would be welcome.
