Authentic undercover UK cop account mainly set in notorious areas of north west England (Manchester). Loved the honesty and great narration.

Manchester’s Donnie Brasco

Fascinating and honest account of the personal price paid by a cop under deep cover in the criminal world of Northern England. American ears will be a bit challenged by the heavy Manchester accent of the narrator. Stick with it. The color and authenticity of the place and time are so embedded in the sound of the reader’s speech that I wouldn’t want to hear it any other way. Good read!
