Tyler becomes the pawn in their disquieting game, and Ahnjii's out to draw some blood of her own, though the Upre money and power might be more than a match for Khimmer and Nightarmor. Help comes in the form of an unusual witch who is more than just an empath, and a knight who may or may not have Ahnjii's interests at heart.
