After being charged with first-degree murder, Brooklyn Winters awaits execution on death row. So when she receives a mysterious letter offering her a chance to win her freedom, she thinks it's a hoax.

According to this letter, all she has to do is agree to take part in a survival game on a remote island.

Last player standing wins their freedom.

If this deal is real, this could be her only chance to escape death. It could also turn out to be a living nightmare.

But what choice does she have? She can either wait for execution, or fight to the death and hope to come out alive.

Fast Thriller

I could've done without all the flashbacks. It kind of messed up the pace since the game was more interesting. Either way this was still a fun & fast paced read. I wonder what happened next with Brooklyn?

Great listen!!! Good narration and story. Lots of twists and keeps you interested to the very end

great idea would be a good movie

some of it was silly. like their super later realizations that would've been immediately obvious in real life. some sections of subpar writing but overall a great book and worth the listen

I was hunting for the ending

Good concept drawn out execution (no pun intended) Did not care for how long this audible was. Felt like I needed a cast list a few times. All the flashbacks were not needed. I’d sum it up as meh.

Finished this book in less than 24 hrs because I couldn't stop listening! Great audiobook!
