This is my 2nd listen to this series.

I have enjoyed listening to this series over all. Love listening to the voice who plays Parker here. I think my only hang up is the voice for Van. He reads to fast and I couldn’t slow his voice down to make it smoother because of the influx of his narration. Where he was slower and smoother in some place but then he would speed up in others which threw off the total enjoyment of the storyline. These two characters were interesting to listen to over all. Loved the story line. When children are included and how accepting they are it just make the story even better.

So far this is my favorite book in the series! I thought it was gonna be a lot more angst and drama than it was but it turned out to be very fluffy and sweet.

I listened on audible and the narrators did an amazing job! I always know I’m going to love the narration when I see Kirk Graves and Tim Paige

My favorite quote: “…The other two stars, Pan… One day they’ll belong to me and you.” “They’ll belong to us,” he said and rested his temple against my arm. “And every night the world will know how much I love you.”


Also Marcos is freaking hilarious and I can’t wait for his book!!!!

this series is just one of those that gets better with each book. Donovan and Parker are so good and pure that you just want to see them find their happiness.
kirt graves and Tim Paige team up again for this adaptation and pull it off perfect.

I love these two so much! I love all the side characters as well specially Marcos. Please don’t miss this series, they are are one on my favorites ever

Loved it

The narration was perfection. Graves and Paige make a great duo. The story was good too. I liked the writing theme throughout. It was good to visit past book characters as well.

Very sweet book, you can read it separately. I love how they deepen their relationship with small steps. Refreshing book with beautiful written words with poetry in and out. The narrators are very good and keep you hooked with the story.

Loved this teacher-student romance!

Literary agent Donovan (Van) Brody takes on a part-time job teaching creative writing to adults. Still smarting from his divorce, Van decides to explore his bisexuality for the first time, unwittingly developing an online relationship with 24 yo military veteran Parker Mills, who is one of his students. There was a lot to love about this, especially the combination of tropes: age-gap / secret online relationship / bisexual awakening / teacher-student. The writing was great. I really liked the characters and the humour between Parker and his flatmate / fellow student, Marcos. I wasn’t convinced by Van’s daughter, Anne. She was sweet, but wise well beyond her 10 years; however, it didn’t detract from the story. I haven’t listened to the previous books in the series (this is book 3), but based on the writing and the wonderful combination of audio narrators here, Tim Paige as Van and Kirt Graves as Parker, I’ll definitely listen to the rest!

💜 Beautiful and Sexy MM Romance 💜

Oh, how I truly loved this book! What an absolutely sexy and heartwarming story. A.M. Johnson does an excellent job in her detailed writing, making you fall in love and root for her characters. Van and Parker have sizzling chemistry for not only when their eyes met but online as well. The saying “Hot for Teacher” was just that, a forbidden relationship between professor and student. I love that Van’s (Mr. Brody) bisexuality awakening was not a “oh shit I think I like men”, but something he’s known his whole life and is ready to explore. There’s no angst in this sort, which is refreshing for this trope. It’s just simply two men trying to navigate how to learn to love each other.
Kirt Graves and Tim Paige do an amazing job narrating this for bidden love story. Kurt performs 24 old Parker so well! You can hear the patience,the longing, the patience, the hesitation you can hear and feel in his tone in each chapter. He portrays Van’s “Lost Boy” so beautifully with confidence.
Tim performs Van (Mr. Brody), a divorced 35 yo literary agent who started teaching a writing class at a local community college to perfection. From the beginning with him struggling with his shyness, his hesitation in pursuing Parker, to his sexual awakening… found his true self. Tim has a talent make you feel like you’re right there with his characters. It’s always such a pleasure to hear his voice in any book!

Seriously the cutest!

There is something so special about van and his curiosity about who he is. His fierce want to know more about his desires.. I adore the way he loves Parker and his ability to come out of who he thought he was and let go to his true self. Love love love this story❣️

Perfection!

This is one of my favorite AM Johnson books! The narrators were absolute perfection as Van & Parker.
