Deadly Hideaway is Book 5 in the Georgia Rae Winston Mystery. Marissa Shrock writes amazing cozy mysteries. Georgia and Cal broke up and although she had a new boyfriend, she still has strong feelings for Cal. So, Georgia goes to the lake for the weekend. Just Georgia’s luck, she found a body in the lake! Because Georgia has helped the police in the past, she gets knee deep in the investigation. I have listened to all 5 of the audio books and and Georgia and her friends feel like I am listening to a story about friends. The characters are realistic and believable. Marissa writes outstanding stories that are so good. If you enjoy listening to clean contemporary romance stories, you will love this series. I received a code for my honest review.

Second Georga Rae story i've read, and enjoyed both of them. Good settings, a touch of romance and a good slice of human nature.

Fun and Entertaining!

This was my first Marissa Shrock's book. This is a fun and entertaining cozy mystery. The characters are well developed, and the storyline is intriguing and captivating. Jennifer Jill Araya did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The body in the lake.
Georgia has helped the police in the past, so she continues to do so while on vacation at the home of an old school friend when she bumps up against a body while waterskiing. The sleuthing is good, the characters often are, and the imagery is exceptionally well done. I really enjoyed this clean contemporary romance/mystery narrated by the incomparable Jennifer Jill Araya.

All Georgia wanted was a relaxing vacation, what she got was murder and mayhem. Deadly Hideaway is the 5th book int he Georgia Rea Winston cozy mystery series. The book is a cute, clean, cozy mystery with a touch of romance. This being the first of the books I've read/listened to to and it being the 5th book in the series, naturally there were a few references I didn't get, not that impacted my enjoyment in the least. The characters are fun (some somewhat annoying...though that is exactly how they are meant to be..so great job there!) and the story was highly enjoyable with quite a few twists and turns. Jennifer Jill Araya did a great job with the narration, giving each character their own distinct feel and really brought Georgia and the others to life. I was given a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This a was truly twisted mystery murder. I couldn’t figure out as I was reading. I never guessed who the murder was. And the motive was moving. Sad that so much heart ache should happen because of one innocent life.
Georgia Life also takes a turn for the better. I loved the character development for her. And I’m sooo happy at the ending!!!
A great book in the deadly mystery series!! I highly recommend!
