Love

This was probably one of the best narrations. I would’ve like more feeling in some parts, but the narrators voice was perfect; no smoker voice and breathing.
Love all of Reichs’ books and this one was great to listen to

Good story, best reader of the series so far.

I drive 10 hrs a day and keep audible in business LoL.

I hate when the reader in a series is changed this reader has been the best of this series so far.

the story is good I like that Kit plays a major role, but it is a bit more predictable than the first 2.

Really Great Reading

This is the 5th Kathy Reichs book I've read, and while I really like Temperance Brennan, this book wasn't my favorite. It was hard for me to get into the outlaw motorcycle gang topic.

Okay, but a bit dry

This one just didn't hold my attention this time. A good listen, just not the best.

Wonderful

Audio performance was superb. Best performance yet. I hope this actor carries through the series.

What did you love best about Deadly Decisions?

I am a fan of all Kathy Reichs Temperance Brennan books. I especially appreciate audiobooks because I can listen in the car - and I am in the car A LOT.

Would you be willing to try another one of Lorelei King’s performances?

NO - this is an AWFUL listen. I actually considered stopping, because of how poorly it was read. Making your voice louder or softer is not all that is needed to hear the tone, inflection, pacing and pattern of a good book. Spoken pieces should not sound exactly the same as description pieces. This was absolutely an awful listen.

I highly recommend any of Reich's books read by Linda Emmond or Katherine Borowitz.

YES. IF THE FRIEND WAS A FAN OF KATHY REICHS OR PATRICIA CORNWELL. BOTH AUTHORS GO INTO LABORIOUS DETAIL ABOUT THEIR WORK IN THE LAB.

THE BOOK IS VERY MUCH LIKE KATHY REICHS OTHER STORIES OR ANY OF PATRICIA CORNWELL'S BOOKS.

"TEMPE" THE MAIN CHARACTER. SHE'S DEDICATED AND DETERMINED

No. I listened in small doses.

Did not like the narrator, sounded like AI.

Interesting how the saga of the characters continues.

I found her attempts at accents to be distracting.

Maybe in 2 sittings!

Lots of detail and explanation given to Dr Brennan that I would expect she would already know. May have been done for reader's benefit, but most were read by narrator very quick and flat and lowered quality of the "read".
