fun cat and charming cottage garden

the cat as important character was so fun. This is a charming escape book. the narrator did a great job with the voice of the cat.

Great narration

Love the narrator! The story is well written. Sweet and kind main character. I enjoyed this and pleased I stumbled upon it

Fun Listen

This book is light and enjoyable. If you're tired or feeling stressed, this is a good listen.

Not a Poppy fan

This was a fairly enjoyable light read. The performance was excellent. I didn't like Poppy, though. She's unwilling to stand up for herself unless the situation is desperate. She also makes weird choices, like buying a sandwich for lunch when she can't afford a coffee on the way to work. Why not pack a lunch if she's that desperate? Not sure I'll be reading the next book just because of the main character.

Excellent start to the series

Deadhead and Buried is book 1 in the English Cottage Garden Mysteries series. This is a cozy mystery set in England. I really enjoyed this book. It is my first book by this author. It captured my attention from the very first scene. This is a great start to the series and I am looking forward to continuing on to book 2. The narration was really good. I don’t have anything negative to say. 5 stars overall.

I have a small collection of her audio books. I would like to collect more. They keep you at the edge of your seat and each book has different suspects doing different crimes.

Such a cozy read

I absolutely love this book. The characters are so cute along with the setting. The little cat is such a fun touch. This book will fulfill all your cottagecore desires! Can’t wait to start more books by this author. Oh! And the narrator was absolutely perfect for this book.

Lighthearted Mystery

I needed a lighthearted mystery with interesting characters, animals and beautiful flowers. This did the trick!

Transformed

Poppy was a joy to get to know in the first of the series. I found her character endearing. This was such an enjoyable story. One part finding oneself, one part mystery and one part horticultur. It's a whodunit that completely enthralled me.
