This was such an absolutely beautiful audiobook 💛

"There are some days we never want to end..."

I sometimes wonder why the idea of not liking something that Rue Sparks writes ever occurs to me. They are one of those authors that, no matter what, I know their writing is going to be AMAZING. I was not disappointed with this audiobook. In fact, I was brought to tears, and laughter, and utter joy.

At it's core, Daylight Chasers is about joy and sorrow, loss and discovery. Sparks does an amazing job of weaving these themes throughout the work, and in a few short pages (or minutes, in the audiobook's case), we are drawn so completely into the story of the chase of happiness and the denial of despair. We see the the absolute beauty of everything around us, and the incandescent shock of how swiftly it can change.

All this is to say that this story was amazing. The narrator lent so much to the story, bringing it to life where few others might be able to. Honestly, if you're looking for a shorter read that is filled with love, hope, heartbreak, and discovery, then do yourself a favor and get this one. You won't regret it.

Well written, captivating

I enjoyed this book. It was always unexpected and personal. I would recommend this book to others, and that Rue posts more on Audible.

A great story

At first I thought I wasn't going to like this but I was wrong. Daylight Chasers is a company that gives you a day that you won't want to end. Isabella is chosen. As she starts her journey she seems to be so sad. As they progress her mood brightens which makes her host happy. She sends messages to family or friends via pigeons, Rides a Bison and swims with Great Whites. All the time getting exactly what she needs to put her life back together. The narrator did a great job filling the story with emotion to tear at your heart strings. A great short story.
