Great Listen

I really enjoyed hearing how this story played out. It plays towards the action readers and the romantic ones as well. The narrator did a great job with the voices and intonations.

Darkest Night

The 5th Audiobook in the series that picks up where the last left off. Dakota and her group fighting to bring down the bad guy. The scenes are written epically. I would love to see this series made into a movie or go to netflix. The Narrator and Author have done an Epic job on this. This is more than a 5 star definitely.

A Fantastic Book

I've read many apocalyptic books but this set of books has got to be the best yet. From laughing to cry , from loving to hating. From making me hold my breath because of fear to smiles on my face from being happy about how something turned out. From being drawn in so many ways at once to everything coming together as it should. A set of very good books.

Excitement to the end!

Kayla Stone keeps us on edge through this exciting conclusion to the Nuclear Dawn series. Excitement, emotion and fear fuel this story. Who will survive? Who will be killed? Who will be injured and who will prevail?
Our favorite characters and the ones we love to hate battle each other to the end.

Best of all are some surprises that will bring a tear or two.
I would like to follow these characters in the lives they rebuild after this man-made tragedy. It was concluded well and I love stories that I know having an ending, but maybe we can have more? I can't get enough of the stories and characters created by Kyla Stone.

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this...

This review is for the 5-book series - I got books 1-3 in a set as a special deal on Audible and was blown away from the very beginning. The action is fast paced and very believable. The narrator did a splendid job. I really enjoyed following the development of the main characters and shed a tear at each tragedy. After reading this series I am eager to try another by this author.

Good series.

Kyla Stone is a very good author. She is not in my top ten, but I’ll definitely be following her and getting more books as they come out. I did enjoy her characters, and her detail. Entertaining and decent knowledge of weapons and platforms as well. I always catch the mistakes when it comes to details, and I did catch some but I can usually get those in every book. Well worth a read or listen!

Summary:

You would think that nuclear destruction was bad enough, but Dakota and Eden’s past continues to haunt them because the leader from the cult the escaped from is determined to kidnap and take Eden as his bride. They have finally returned to the only home they had in the Florida everglades, but that isn’t enough to protect them. Dakota and Logan devise a plan that could not only save Eden, but possibly thousands.

This was the perfect ending to the fast paced and incredible series. Dakota may be on the streets, but her drive and desire to protect everyone around her may be the only thing that stands between them and annihilation. Logan may have a dark and destructive past, but what he might need is someone who he can believe in and protect.

The audible version brought the characters story to an incredible end.

Great Finish to a Great Series

This review is for the audio copy of Darkest Night (A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller) - Nuclear Dawn, Book 5 by Kyla Stone and narrated by Stacey Glemboski. Great finish to an excellent series. Character development was consistent throughout the series. Settings, attitudes and actions seemed realistic and plausible. This series kept me engaged and listening to it constantly. Stacey was the voice of this series. She made the story come alive in my mind. This was a great series with solid and satisfying ending. I highly recommend every book in the series.

a have to read

this book is in the top line of books that I have ever read and I go through several books a month. I'm not sure how kind of comes up with these stories but she is a fantastic author and I think everyone should read her books
