A Perfect Vader Story!

A perfect story introducing Vader as we know him in his earliest days. Excellent tale and an easy recommendation!

Another great classic novel.

If you are a fan of the sith, and Vader, you must listen to this. This is a must have if you want to get in depth information about what Skywalker has become, and how he must live in his armored suit. There should be more legends novels that should be re recorded.

I love the starwars series books.

Another great story of the Jodi's attempts to escape the sith. The starwars legends series is always a good audiobook.

Performance of the narrator

Great book, great story, and best of all great narration. Makes you remember how good the Star Wars books back in the day.

Refreshing and fun story

This has been a book that I have wanted to listen to for a while and I am happy that they finally released an unabridged version. As always Marc Thompson does a great job depicting the story with his voices and the overall story is a very fun ride and an interesting look into many of the characters following the fall of the republic. I’ve read many of the legends and canon books but this one was a refreshing ride. As always James Lucero did a great job writing the story which is no surprise there is hardly ever disappoints

Cool look at Vader, bad new character writing

The performance and cinematic experience are among the best I’ve heard in a book, the sound effects and voices were all on point (minus the wookies:) which really added to the book. However, even though the imperial story line was very intriguing and cool to see being a huge prequels fan, the rest of the characters were just not interesting to me at all. The only newly introduced character that I liked was a clone commando in the beginning. This just made it very hard to appreciate those characters stories, which were a large portion of the book. Still a very good experience, but if you can’t get connected to the new characters you might be a little let down with the story as a whole as I was.

Superbly Amazing!

Excellent story telling, voice narration and attention to detail in the grand scheme of the Star Wars Universe. Got a glimpse into the psyche of Vader/Anakin and Palpatine. Amazing work!!

Fire!!!

This book definitely scratched the Star Wars itch! Get listen that I recommend to any fan!

Dark Lord

This book was originally targeted as the sequel to revenge of the Sith. A tie is the entire expanded universe’s prequels era into a nice bow. I can’t imagine a better book than this for what happens after the movie.

Just wow

I love all these books written to just give us fans a little bit more inside the head and psyche of Lord Vader and the imprisonment of Anakin Skywalker
