Love Carpathians!

This series is great! I love the uniqueness of the Carpathians, I love the fated mates thing, and I really just enjoy the world Feehan has created. If you like PNR and fated mates, you will love this series!

Cruelty to children should be outlawed

Even in a strong male, cruelty leaves a devesting effect . This beautiful person shows it can be overcome. Family can heal all wounds with love and support........😀

Much Better Job from Narrator

I did not like the narrator in the last book he did, but he did a great job in this one. so far this has been my favorite story of them all thus far! can't wait to read the next one though!

i loved the story when i read it but omg it was amazing to hear it as well. loved the narrator's voice i would recommend this audio

Awesome Series

Loved this series!!
I will listen to all of them. I have the paperback books, but audible makes the character come to life.

A good narration with a nice story

There are dark bad guy themes but the suspense is seeing what they’ll do to get through it. Yes it’s an adult book so some descriptions of sex but nothing a mature teen hasn’t already read about or young adult books don’t have.

I like the carpathians, finding out more of the history getting an inkling there are layers of good things to find out in other books that are written.

New Characters and talents!

Julian has just one more task to accomplish for his Prince before he will end himself to avoid turning vampire. What a surprise that the woman he needs to warn and protect from fanatics turns out to be his lifemate. And her group of troubadours are lost children of the Capathians. And Desiree and her brother are Gregori‘s lost younger brother and sister; escaping the massacre that killed their parents.
5 new characters and incredible talents to enrich the world of the Carpathians. And Julian gets to face down the vampire that marked him when he was 12, and forever changed his life.
Crisden has a pleasant enough voice- for other books. It’s just too “white bread” for this story. This series requires at least a Frangione, but my fave is Gigante.

What you expect isn't always reality.

I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Desari (Dara) was a great match for Julian. Julian was such a chauvinist and totally underestimated Desari. I loved it when Desari showed Julian just how powerful she was. Their relationship was great. Julian trying to learn to live around Desari's family cracked me up so much. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book. Or listening to it as I enjoyed that as well.
