Understanding the historical context of this text can be quite complex, but Dr. Creasy makes it both simple and interesting. While an occasional ringing cell phone disrupts the lecture, the live aspect of the recording brings listeners right into the heart of the engaging story. Paul sends 1 Corinthians to the church at Corinth, and when they receive the epistle, they are livid! They immediately write back to Paul in very harsh terms (the letter from Corinth has been lost, but Paul alludes to it in 2 Corinthians), prompting Paul to get on board ship in Ephesus, sail to Corinth and address the church in person. It is not a pleasant visit. When Paul gets back to Ephesus he has second thoughts about his “short but painful visit”, and he writes 2 Corinthians to smooth things over.

Thorough Bible Teaching
I really enjoy all of Dr. Bill Creasy’s Bible studies. In this one he ties together Daniel, the words of Christ in Matthew and the book of Revelation as well as to all of the historical things going on at the time to help make sense of it all. I took notes in my Bible along the way. Still could listen to this over and over to let it sink in more.

The best Bible teacher I have ever listened to
I sat in Dr Creay’s five years through the Bible course in the 1990s. I am passing through many of his Audible classes to refresh my notes and outlines. I recommend him, widely.
He will change the way you read the Bible and will equip you to teach it if you want to walk that way.

Dr Creasy teaching makes it easier to read Daniel
If you are looking to understand the book of Daniel, I highly recommend this audible book. I listen to the teaching twice and he makes it The tough chapters and Daniel understandable.

This is a great bible study that gives background, historical context, and great biblical cross reference details that is almost impossible to find anywhere else. Have your bibles read and dive-in!

Daniel in Review
I loved the way Dr Creasy navigated and explained the book of Daniel in relation to other locations in the Bible that parallels or corresponds to the same information. I have a better understanding of Daniel’s prophesies and therefore a clearer understanding of Revelation. Because of this, I gave a very high rating. This study did not disappoint in any way.
