Dr. Creasy draws on his studies, travels, and personal anecdotes to depict a vivid picture of the works of scripture. Somewhere between a sermon and a college lecture, he delivers these audiobooks with authority but a pleasantly friendly voice and a touch of fun, using contemporary references.

In Dr. Creasy’s view, the Epistles to Romans is not only the most important of the 13 books attributed to Paul but of all of the New Testament’s 27 books. This is another great lecture series from Dr. Bill Creasy. He is always incredibly insightful and engaging. He often supplements the material with personal stories which are relevant and interesting. He has taken several trips to Israel and the Middle East where he visits the locations depicted in the Bible and he shares those first hand accounts which enables him to take you back to that point in time that the scripture is talking about.

Romans is full of gems from what the Gospel is to our responsibility within the family of God. Dr. Creasy does a great job expounding upon Paul's thoughts and applying them to our time.

This work is a very good at opening the door for a deeper understanding of Romans by Paul by the way Dr. Creacy places his own levels of understanding of the times, circumstances and the people involved. This, along with the connection between the Biblical texts referenced opened up Romans for myself.

I so enjoyed listening to Bill Creasy especially the introduction and how he knows the material so well. Romans is a fascinating book and made me think. I’m sure I could listen again and learn just as much the second time.
