So good! Exciting, predictable at the right moments but unpredictable at others, and just a enough smut to keep you on your toes! Can’t wait for book 3!

This book had me hooked from the start. Such a great slow burn between the characters. I love pirate stories and strong female lead so I give this 5 stars! I can't wait for the next book so I can fall in love with that one too.

Love this series

This is such an original series and the writing is incredible. I definitely recommend all three books

Oh my!! The tension between these two was AMAZING!

I loved that we got to know more about Niya, especially her inner thoughts. I won’t lie, she broke my heart and I was not expecting for her to struggle so much. I wanted to hug her. I love how much she loves her family and how she would do just about anything for them.

As for Alos… I wanted to hit him and hug him. I love that we got to see a side of him that people would consider as vulnerable. Even if I didn’t agreed with everything he did, I also kinda understood where he was coming from.

I liked the adventure and dynamic of the story. I was hooked since the very beginning and it was hard to put down.

Narration and performance was done beautifully. Both narrators captured me even more into the story.

A bargain and a woman tied to a ship captain.

This is a second book in a series and could be a stand alone but a few things would not be explained. I love what I call a time piece book, certain etiquette and behaviors. Her sisters and father carry through the books. A stubborn and somewhat temperamental female falls in to her own vices to serve a bargain with a notorious captain that she has history with. Characters with powers, romance, adventure. Very enjoyable listen.

Great Sequel!

The beginning started a little slow but quickly picked up as the adventure unfolded. It was also a great follow up to the first book, Song of the Forever Rains and to me was far more of an adventure, as you visit many more kingdoms and scenes compared to the first book.

Can’t believe I waited!

I can’t believe I waited this long to read this! This book is definitely for those who love a good will they/won’t they vibe. It has magic, romance, action, and heartbreak. The story of Niya and Alos is written superbly, and with such Grace. I will definitely be picking up the third AND 1st books!

Better than the first one!!

If you enjoyed the first book even a little, you will LOVE the second.
