Millions know Daisy Ridley as Rey in the Star Wars movies, but what was her life like before she got her big break? Daisy Ridley: Behind the Rebel tells the life story of the girl from Westminster, England, who grew up dreaming of becoming a veterinarian before discovering that she could sing, dance, and act. This children's biography will satisfy young listeners interested in finding out more about the actress behind Rey.

it's basically a digest of articles about her. the quality is heavily front-loaded in the early parts of her life, after which much of the information is extraneous or obvious
one thing i don't understand is why this is a "children's biography". one or two parts of the actual writing made sense in that context, but mainly it just seems like a brief bio piece with a man speaking patronizingly for no other reason than the piece was determined to be for children. i suspect this piece was categorized as children's strictly because no one expects children's content to be high quality, or maybe they thought nobody but a child would want to hear daisy ridley's life story. well goo goo ga ga, i'm out three bucks
i don't know who would actually benefit from this book, unless you think daisy ridley is REALLY swell, but let's not go craisy
pretty bad, but it's less than three dollars
