The book covers a wide range of topics and does so in easy to understand language, while still being technically correct. The team made what to me sounded like an impossible task, a DIY audio book, in something enjoyable. The attached eBook is a huge plus!

Lots of Well Organized and Helpful Advice!

Chapters are neatly organized and each project is described in good detail but not too much detail that seems overwhelming. It’s the perfect mix.

Fantastic!

Just what I needed. My dad was a builder and sadly I didn't pick up his vast skill set. This book was like a walk down memory lane and I could imagine my dad doing similar DIY jobs and repairs around the home. The knowledge imparted in this book is vast and wide ranging from small jobs to big ones, plumbing to electrics. If you want a one stop guide to fixing everything around the home then you really couldn't do better than this cracking book!

This is a really well made book. A must have for homeowners. It includes everything a homeowner would need for repairs and remodeling. The photos are very helpful for DIY. All the instructions in the book are very clear. It’s a great reference guide for all home projects. Get this book!

Perfect Starting Point

This is the perfect starting point for me as I am new to home improvement. A few things around the house can be fixed and that saves me money not buying a replacement. What I liked most is this being the first DIY book iv read. Audiobook helped me fix a few things around here already.

Let me be honest

Truthfully i am down to work on most everything around the house other than plumbing and electrical work. that stuff makes me nervous but beyond that this book was amazingly helpful to me. I am lazy when it comes to fixing things around the house but am not when it comes to preventable maintenance, which is why the chapter on avoiding big problems was my favorite. Second to that learning how to enhance outdoor areas has me counting the days until winter is over!

exactly what I needed

having recently moved, and not being happy if things aren't right (little ocd!), this is the perfect guide. not particularly savvy in this kind of thing so this book is perfect!

AMAZING!!

As I always attempt to do things on my own at home, I have viewed many videos to understand how to start and obtain ideas for my projects. This was my first time listening to an audiobook, and I have to admit that, despite my initial anxiety, I had a great time. Working on a project while paying attention to the directions was a truly calming experience for me. It also includes a free ebook, which is always good.
