So sad it’s over but loved the ending

I never would have guessed the ending. I wasn’t overwhelmed by the amount of characters and loved most of them. I was worried things wouldn’t work out several times in this book. It made for an entertaining ride. The world that was left standing at the end sounds like a perfect place to start a new series.

Can’t believe it’s over

So bittersweet coming to the end of this series… I loved all the adventure from start to finish !!!!

Amazing as usual, emotional heart wrenching satisfying

I struggled at first with this book as it had such a different feel then the others but it lives up to the series and gives it the much needed ending. I worried about how some things would be resolved but this book was the perfect ending to our journey

Completely satisfying ending to the series!!! As impatient as I was, each loose end was tied up properly. She didn’t take any short cuts. And, of course, Greg was masterful in his narration.

Very satisfying ending!

Tremblay’s narration packs a lot of emotional punch, I had tears myself at times. Wonderfully satisfying.

This has to be one of my favorite series.

The world building is absolutely amazing. Every aspect thought of. The magic systems in this are far beyond that of any other system. The stories are creative and refreshing. The author, the narrator, just everything. I can not recommend this series enough. And this was such a beautiful conclusion to an already amazing series.

Excellent series, minor flaws

Loved this series. The outline is fantastic, Nick and Parker well developed in previous books. Only critique would be this end felt a bit rushed, wrapped up super neat very quickly, and felt like it needed a bit more space for the characters to organically breathe and live a bit as they worked and struggled to this ending. Maybe with a few scenes here or there to balance out the (large amount) of on screen politicking by various factions, which weren’t fun to read in such volume.

Like a cookie recipe without salt, still deliciously sweet, but could use some balancing.

4.5/5 for the great ride and characters over the series as a whole, 5/5 narration, and 4/5 for this book.

Great work. Hope to read more great things by this author, perhaps in the same shared universe.

Perfection

I’ve adored this series for so long- I wasn’t sure there’d be a sufficiently good ending for it. I was wrong. I love this wholeheartedly.

Excellent!!

This is one of my all time favourite series, and this finished off just right!! I’m going to miss these guys and their found family!!

This was non-stop action, danger, sacrifice, and love. Greg Tremblay brought everyone to life. I was at the edge of my seat and brought to tears many times. But I also laughed and cheered. Parker and Nick deserve all the happiness!
