As the war rages around all of them, they learn that the hardest course to plot is through a cyclone of chaos.
This novel is the first of the second season trilogy, advancing the war and the storyline into the second year of the ultimate conflict for control of the Earth.

Chase had it all planned out. Do a little time in one of the emperor's jails, say a four-year stretch, for getting rid of some trash that no one would miss, and when he got out, the path to leadership would be wide open. Unfortunately, his bastard of a father, the same one who left his mother to die in poverty and him to run wild on the streets, took an interest. Seeing him sitting on the bench when his case went to court was a shock. But not as big a shock as being sentenced to ten years in the Imperial Navy.

The latest in Science Fantasy greatness!
This entry of the Land & Sea series has me gripping the edge of my seat. New and old characters come together to continue the fight against the Fish. Love the thrilling elements of mystery and the redemption arc for the fallen ASHUR pilot have me longing to know where it all goes. Throw in the orbital suspense of the THOR unit and we have some fantastic stories within the war going.
If you haven’t picked up this title/series do yourself a favor and get started today.

Continuing greatness!
Blaine Pardoe does it again with another wonderful book for the Land and Sea series. This book delivers all the key elements that have become the Hallmark of the series. Getting to see favorite old characters comeback to the front of the story. The continuation of learning about the enemy and many other great moments.
I will simply say read this series and you will not be disappointed.

Foxholes & Fish or F&F sticks to what makes the original great while adding to it in a way that will keep readers and gamers enthralled with the new additions. More units and classes have been added to bring a new spin to the conflicts along with new equipment to change how the conflicts are resolved. For lore buffs there is the return of some well loved characters and some new ones for you to learn and love throughout the run of the reading. If you are new to the series it is recommended you go to F&Fs first book Splashdown to get acquainted with where the series started.
