Cute Geek + Jock Romance with some steam!

I am writing this review after getting a free ARC. I love a good unrequited love story that turns out that they both actually love each other!! This story is about Kira Wells a nerdy intellectual Freshman and Nate Buckingham also known as "Buck" the beloved Quarterback. This story was very interesting. I have never actually read or listened to a story that would go from one point of view, then go back in time and get the perspective from the other persons' point of view so that we could hear both persons' perspectives on love scenes and actions scenes and everything. It was very interesting. Sometimes a little tedious but mostly very interesting to get both Nate and Kira's side of the story in everything. Kira was a strong female, who stood up for herself which I appreciated. Nate had times where I loved him and I hated him, but overall a happy ending. I ended up enjoying this book! I have to say that I wish that there was also a male narrator. The female narrator did great with the female voice but TERRIBLE with the male voice!!! Since the book's timeline went back and forth so much, sometimes I forgot who was talking and since the narrator didn't even try to deepen her voice with the male character, I had now idea which character was talking. Maybe Shae think about getting a male and female narrator team next time?

YA Romance

Not a big fan of the narration. Story line itself was good. Smart girl freshman girl. Smart football jock. They are from the same hometown and meet again at college. Both had crushes on each other from their high school days and still find each other attractive. This is their story about getting together and the obstacles they face. I was a little annoyed by the duel point of view. I think the story was retold the whole way through with very little Change. If I was reading the book I would have skipped a lot.

nice story

This was a good YA sports romance. It was well written and the storyline was entertaining. I did get this book for free in exchange for an honest review so I have no problem recommending it to others.

Love sports romance

I loved this audio! It kept me on my toes until the very end. Shae Sullivan did an amazing job with this book and I can not wait to read/listen to more books from this author. The narrator did a great job with this audio although it did take me a couple of chapters before I could decide if I liked her but she did an amazing job. Keira and Nate do not seem like your typical college couple. Nate is a football player and Keira is a book nerd. Nate has always had a thing for her but can he prove to her that he wants her for her and not just her brains. I just loved this audio!

Cute Nerd + Hot Jock = 🔥🔥

This story was so cute and loved every minute of it. Kiera and are were so cute together, they had great chemistry. I loved the fact that both had a secret crush on each other in high school and finally were able to admit how they felt. The narrator did an ok job but her was too high pitch for my liking.
