Resumen del Editor

Ready to finally bring your product idea to life?

Maybe your product is ready to launch, but you don’t have a marketing strategy to ensure the best results. Or maybe your first launch failed and you’re wondering what you did wrong.

In Crowdfunded, Mark Pecota breaks down the step-by-step system he and his team have used to launch thousands of products in dozens of categories. In the process, LaunchBoom has driven more than $100 million in revenue through Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and other e-commerce platforms.

Mark will show you:

  • How a crowdfunding launch (versus a “traditional” launch) will drastically reduce your risk.
  • The “test, launch, scale” framework: you’ll be able to launch a product that you know people actually want.
  • Why the “Four Horsemen of Traffic” are all you need to drive continuous sales.
  • How to create a “reservation funnel” and build a prelaunch email list that’s 30 times more likely to buy.
  • How to have your own “LaunchBoom” and get funded in the first 24 hours (it happens more often than you can guess!).
  • His proven way to leverage your crowdfunding success and scale on e-commerce.

This no-nonsense blueprint for product creators, inventors, and entrepreneurs will help turn any product idea into a real business. Apply the lessons you’ll learn in this book, and soon you can say your product was crowdfunded.

Anyone considering Crowdfunding should read/listen

Mark‘s book is well written and well read. I believe anybody that is considering launching a new product with crowdfunding should definitely read this book. It has a wealth of information about the whole process. Of course, Mark focuses mainly on marketing, but that’s obviously his trade and why he focuses on that. But marketing is really where you need to concentrate on launching a new product. You can make the greatest widget in the world and if nobody knows about it or finds it, it will be a failure.

The book is broken out into the main tasks you need to complete to run a successful campaign. All of those steps are important, but the marketing parts are critical and covered the most in the book.

This is the first book I’ve read on crowdfunding, so I can’t compare it to others, but I feel it is certainly worth the price and the time. I’ve read many other marketing books and this is one of the better ones. Some are too long-winded and cover old topics in detail but the problem with a book is it’s never current. The details of marketing change too fast now, you have to concentrate on learning the concepts, which are evergreen.
