Goods and bads 🤷‍♀️

okay so at first I didn't think I was going to like Helen's voice. I was like, am I going to be able to finish this audiobook? But after several chapters there is no other voice that would fit Helen. Several voices reminded me of Ice Plant Barbarian's. LOVE that series too. Love all the different characters introduced in this series.

Mathiras Doesn't Learn

In all of this romance and "oooh what does my mate want" one thing was made clear, the compliment "perfect" is lame... and yet it is one of his favorites to utter.

adorable but it is a bit too long

I know that other reviews say that the female narrator is annoying, but she captures helen just right. cause helen is naive and adorable. however, it is a bit long and some scenes can be a little jarring. although long it is a nice warp up of the cloning and slave arc.

It's good

I think the first one is my fav, this ones good also though, the voice is kind of cringy but it was needed for her I have a rolling pin had me laughing every time..

Get the rolling pin out.

Helen is both sweet and slutty at the same time. Sometimes this can be a bit much and other times it is kinda funny as Mathiras is such a stick in the mud. Overall a good book, but not one of my favorites. Narrators are usually good, but this time the female narrator made Helen sound too much like a young girl, I know that is the point as she is supposed to be innocent, but it’s a lot for the whole book, I think I would have enjoyed the book better without the little girl sound.

Finishing off some books

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as all the rest. Helen was whinny. Mathiras was constantly questioning her. It took forever to get to them having sex and it wasn’t really worth the wait. The main storyline was good.

Funny

Helen is not quite the airhead she was in previous books, but still funny and naive. Storyline was interesting but the book was too long. It was a struggle listening until the end. Narrators did a great job.

That voice…

Love all of these books but the voice in this one killed me… I wish I had just read it and not listened to it.

Helen is such an amazing character that it makes this book a joy to listen too. Her naivety and lust really combine to leave me smiling constantly
