if you like Terry Brooks, you'll love this!

This is wild! I've started with Book 2 (this audiobook) in the series and even though I haven't heard the first, I've caught on for the most part. The audiobook sweeps you away to a time and place that keeps you wondering what's next and questioning the future in this and that world. Even the most mechanical beings/characters have human elements.

Great narrative

This immersive dystopian world that blurs the line between technology and humanity, making me question what it means to be human in a transformed environment.

Entertaining

This was an entertaining audiobook. I found that it was a touch long at times which is why the four stars. This could have almost been divided as book 2 and part of book 3. Narrator was good and I listeded to this over a few evenings while relaxing and doing some house work.

Boundary divide

This book offers a powerful lens through which to experience of world driven by its own technical ambition. The tension between control and free will be explored with subtle intensities that left me thinking long after I finished the book.

Really interesting story!

I thought about picking this one up since it’s part of my favorite genre and it sure didn’t disappoint. There are a good number of twists and turns throughout the story and it really does help to keep things engaging!

Unexpectedly Deep

I quickly became enthralled with the plot and couldn't stop thinking about what would come next. The world this story creates is dark, different, and at the same time believable. It also made me reflect on what it means to be human in a completely transformed environment.

Definitely recommend

I wasn't sure what to expect from the second book, but Construct & Vist completely pulled me in. The world-building is even more detailed this time around, and Vist as a character really starts to come into focus. It’s mysterious, thought-provoking, and has that slightly surreal edge that keeps you turning the pages. Definitely recommend if you like speculative fiction with a twist.

This Book Helped Me Understand Myself Better

Wow, this book was exactly what I needed! It explains inner child healing in such a simple and relatable way. I loved the self-guided therapy sessions—they made me feel like I was in a real session but at my own pace. The exercises really helped me reflect on past patterns and understand why I react the way I do in certain situations. If you’ve ever felt stuck or overwhelmed by emotions you don’t fully understand, this book is a great starting point for healing and self-discovery.

Whoa this book is deep

I won't spoil anything, but wow. This made me rethink what it means to be human. I must warn you there are some pretty intense things inside but wow, what a story.
