A great, quick but full of impact read for anyone that wants to improve their communication skills in a relationship. I love the personal stories in here that are honest and shows why there often is a struggle in communication between two individuals.This book is an excellent resource for anyone looking to better communicate with their spouse! Marcus and Ashley had a lot of challenges early on in their marriage, like so many other folks and they have done a great job of sharing how they overcame those issues, in order to help make things easier for others in a similar situation.

I always thought of myself as a great communicator and this showed me that I can still do better. ! I found this book to be very readable and, unlike many books on communication skills, it is born out of real life experience in teaching thousands of couples. Your wisdom, enthusiasm, knowledge and joy of empowering others shines through--almost as good as being in your class! Thank you so much for sharing how to communicate better--a skill that we ALL constantly need to be aware of and work on every day. I especially liked your 12 day plan to improve. I love this book so much i recommended this book.

I loved every word in this book.

Excellent and practical - unlike some books on communication, this one covers a host to personality types and how to communicate with them successfully It would be helpful if this book were required listen in middle school. It should also be required reading for anybody studying business or trying to manage people. This is definitely one of the best books about "social graces" on the market. Overall I was very satisfied with all the content given in this book as it exposed me to ideas and concepts that I would have never came up with myself. it is a wonderful book. what i liked so much about it is that it has specific examples on what to do on a specific situations.

This book can save relationships!!

The book is really good, my expectations for it was at ease at first considering the low price but after I read just only a few pages I was instantly hooked onto it. A great job of explaining the importance of Impactful speaking and written are the best how too's of what you need to do in order create more fulfilling conversations that clearly articulate your thoughts to the listener.

If you want to develop your listening skills.

I love the fact that this book focuses on empathy. A skill we can all cultivate in ourselves, but never have been taught on how to do so. The Author gives great tips and insights on the topic and explains why empathy is crucial in everyday situations. He guides us through a process and helps us understand and cultivate this skill while embedding it into our daily lives. Great book. Lots of useful information without being wordy I thoroughly enjoyed Bento Leal's book-it was engaging and practical with clear real-life examples and applications.

A true goldmine of communication information! Each chapter concisely addresses aspects of verbal and nonverbal communication in a way that is easy to understand and has real-world application suggestions. While reading you start to recognize your own mistakes and mishaps in communication and are provided with relevant alternative responses. This is one of the greatest and least expensive investments I’ve made in my life and relationships and every day look forward to applying the knowledge in this book. Thank you Ian, truly.

The concepts discussed are great. Each one is important. But I think it's too compact. Each chapter could have been a little longer adding some context. I made note of some background reading required to understand some concepts. I
