A Complex Tale of Paranormal and Sci-Fi

I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Because of the complexity of the storyline, I found that sometimes there was a little disconnect between one scene and the other. I'm impressed with the author's capacities to blend the various genres into one story. Not an easy task to accomplish. This supernatural, sci-fi, mystery, romance, technology, intrigue story, will keep your interest going but will also require keen attention in order to follow the complex plot and the many characters involved in the story telling.
The narration is fine, but lacks a little emphasis. Also I would have liked a little pause between chapters especially when the situations abruptly changed. It would have made following the storyline a little easier.
However if you take your time and pay attention, you'll definitely enjoy this audiobook.

really cool story

Really liked the story. narrator was a little bland, but charaters and story more than made up for it. Definitely worth a listen

Good but long

I believe the story should have been broken into at last 2 or maybe 3 books as the story progressed. There is little coalescence between the different parts except it involves the same people.

Paranormal and scifi

This for me started of slow but it picked up later on but I found that this narrator did not suit this audiobook. The narrator in my opinion had a monotone voice. I would have liked a bit more feeling and unfortunately this let it down for me. If you can live with the narrator then this is a great audiobook.

Meh.

A really interesting idea, but the story is pretty disjointed and is frankly pretty hard to follow. When you do figure out what is going on, the story takes some dubeous leaps of plot and logic and deus ex machina to make it all resolve...sort of.

Loved the experience of listening to this book, The main characters were compelling and interesting. The plot was a bit shaky at points but in the end, I liked where it went. I was given this book in return for a review.

Interesting enough premise but not original. Dialogue and language were stilted and not natural though.

Book 1

Interesting enough that it was hard to put down. Has elements of paranormal and IF I investigators. Kept me enthralled.. Will definitely read more by this author.

Very Interesting

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It has a lot of topics rolled up in one. If you enjoy paranormal, UFO, comedy and romance this would be a good book for you!

Wow, really enjoyed this Sci-Fi gem from Gary Starta, beautifully narrated by Ann Simmons. Ann, you did an outstanding job! Really gave the story life, and that's everything :)

This was part paranormal, part sci-fi, part alien, part everything! In a good way. All the things I love into one! :)
I was on the edge of my seat; I thought the characters were well-developed and the story well-written.

Treat yourself to a long and enjoyable listen, with Coalescence - and I'm looking forward to more in the series! It's that time of year to cozy up with a book or three :)
