Awesome book! Loved everything except from a technical standpoint, in between chapters there was too much silence. So glad it's a series and even more glad that the next book is in my Audible library! ☺

Read and read again

Yet another of Chuck Black's wonderful books! The story is well written and engaging. I had no trouble visualizing what was happening. The performance and music help bring it to life.

I love the way Chuck Black explores spiritual warfare through stories.

These tales seem to almost pull the reader into the world being described. As I listened, even having read the book before, I found myself invested, looking forward to what would come next for the characters in the story. I would recommend obtaining the physical copy, as it has a reader's guide in back to help guide in discerning which parts of the story are based on Scripture versus the author's creativity. I deeply appreciate Chuck Black's perspective and His passion for telling stories.

So creative

I thought it was well portrayed by the readers and the writing was creative, engaging And clever. It’s nice to read something or in this case listen to something that has traditional values and Christian standards used to build and cultivate a story. I don’t know if the people who did the Chosen are aware of this book series, but these could easily be made into a movie franchise. I do a lot of driving in my job and I really appreciate these books to pass the time and they actually give me hope for our country. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Action packed and kept me guessing

I can’t express how much I enjoyed this trilogy. It builds so read from the beginning. Sometimes I really wonder if spiritual warfare looks something like this so it was right up my alley. The beginning is a little slow but within a few chapters it picks up. And no, it’s not based on HS. He does grow up and that’s where the action is.

It’s clean and full of adventure and surprises!

Everything was done and spoken very well. I never wanted to stop listening to this.

edge of your seat

we really enjoyed this book. it was captivating and intriguing. this book kept us on the edge of our seats and even my younger children were enjoying it
