HOT!

Book 2 of Betty's MC romance series didn't disappoint. In fact, it over excelled my expectations. I have a massive book hangover.

A friend recommended and gifted me a copy of this book some time ago and I just hadn't had time to get to it until now and I REGRET IT SOOOO MUCH! 😭

If you like slightly taboo, dirty and hot then I have the book for you. This book is that and more.

Dominic and Erika's story is a very different tone than Castle of Kings. More drug use and taboo-ish but I must be bad in the head because I loved it. It kept me captivated. The suspense and steam had me reading faster to find out what happens next. The twists and turns Ms. Shreffler writes are amazing! Loved it!

Now I have to go read King of Kings because this book hangover left me feeling empty and needing to return to their world because I miss them all so much!

One of the better MC books I have read in a long time.

Strong believable characters, well written and satisfying. No matter how much a club seems like a family, there can be betrayal.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Dominic and Erika

An emotionally intoxicating ride to go on. I was pulled in from the beginning, edge of my seat, and rooting for Dominic and Erika till the end. Betty Shreffler's writing is outstanding. Troy Duran and Jillian Macie are outstanding narrators, they brought this thrilling and intense story to life and I loved every second of it.

awesome story... Hot... Hot...Hot!

Loved the MC Romance...and the story of a hard man learning to love and also learning love conquers all...now on to Nyx...loved the first book too!...

not about the King's but will be... if you want to hear about sex .. this your story.

ok, So I loved book one ... was not sure why this was not about the King's. But towards the end it interwind to the kings.. It could have been a little more on the story it self. So much more potential to the story. I love Dom and Erica's story... but the amount of Sex scenes was over kill!!! .. I counted in one chapter 3 different sex scenes. You could have built more on the physical story... there were times I was like really you tried to call your sister cause you were so worried about her 3 different times... but then you were more worried about having sex. the way it was written was like 1hr to 2 later then you called your sister. like hello your sister is in danger you were very vocal about that but instead let's have sex and check on her later.... then when something happened you were upset. it was me personally I was fast forwarding from the sex scenes.. just over kill as I mentioned every chapter is a sex scene. This book didn't need to be as long. it was like the sex scene were fillers.

Narrators were great ... love their performance together.

Very dark romance

I finished it a couple of times I wanted to stop but since I paid for the book I didn’t. The story isn’t for someone who wants romantic love it is dark romance the sex scenes sometime turned me off and the relationship between the sisters wasn’t great. The woman narrator was nasally I would’ve liked to hav more from the male narrator his voice was nice. Again if u like dark romance this is for you. I’m on the edge if I’m reading book 3.

All sex, no substance

Based on the reviews, I am in the minority by not liking this story. There are so many well written MC novels out there, this is such a disappointment.

If you want a one dimensional story that is focused on sex, sexual situations, sexual positions, sex, sex, sex, this is the book for you.

In the world of MC romance, this falls short. IMO there are so many other hot, gritty, realistic, true romance stories out there to settle for one like this. Even Troy Duran couldn't save it. In fairness I did listen to the entire book and found it lacking until the end. There was such possibility in the entire book that was wasted on the alphas sexual fascination with his new girl. I did not get the feel of real emotional attachment. There was no "development" of a relationship. Don't waste a credit on this story.

I REALLY wanted to like it

Good author. Bad book. These characters had so much potential to be interesting and emotionally connected. Instead, no story. One dimensional. Why do they love each other? Who are they? No clue. It’s like a big story was shoved into a few pages. Also, Jillian Macie is just bad. Troy Duran couldn’t save this one.

Not good

I like a good sexy books as much as any other person. However, this books is just bad.
