Drawing on decades as a scholar and translator of St. Clare, Sr. Joan Mueller, OSC, PhD, invites you to explore Clare's rich literary heritage. Through her remarkable writings, you will discover a window into the timeless wisdom of 13th-century medieval women. Starting with her letters to Agnes of Prague, you will explore Clare's writings within the context of her life, times, and spirituality. Together with Agnes, Clare worked to adapt papal decrees according to the Franciscan charism of poverty.
