Great story

Love the story & the characters. Very enjoyable and just a fun book. I highly recommend it

Totally my own fault

So I realized recently after I listened to this books prequel with a different reader. It’s her voice, I don’t mind the cheesy stuff that happens in the book-it’s fluff for fun. Kathleen McInerney makes the female character sound like brainless idiots with all of her hesitations and breathiness. I realized that whenever I annoyed by a book a characters it is often this narrator. If you enjoy her you will enjoy the book. If, like me, you find her performances frustrating I suggest not purchasing this book and just reading it instead. Please understand I am sure she is a lovely narrator but not for me.

Another enjoyable episode of Bebe & Weezy

I love Mary Kay Andrews - always download one of her books when I want to listen to something that I can not only identify with and also that I know will make me laugh out loud.

I love the Bebe and Weezie stories. I would have like a little more mystery but it was perfect nonetheless.

I love the development of Weezy and BeBe and the way the story is told from each of their points of view.

I've listened to so many MKA books and love this performer.

Weezy always steals the show but BeBe really was the most memorable in that she had the most transition and personal growth.

Lighthearted fun

Great to continue the story of the Savanah ladies. Lighthearted and fun with twists along the way. I listen to Blue Christmas every year as an annual tradition. Love that this added to the story line. My only complaint is a few details about NYC… a little less then realistic. But the author did get the massive NYC slush puddles precisely right.

Sweet Merry Christmas Story

Just a sweet romantic novel with no drama, no mystery, as if one was hanging out with 2 girlfriends one getting married and one having a baby.

Love Mary’s Books

Again in the adventures of Bebe and Weezie, I am NOT let down. Probably the best narrator I’ve heard in a while, she so perf cult captures the characters. Love!

Sassy Southern Girls...

I love Mary Kay Andrews Weezie and BeBe series. I read it every year. Think an old buddy comedy, with two girls in Savannah. Problem: the narrator is awful. She mispronounced words all over the place. A little look at the book would show her how to pronounce. unfamiliar words. Also, there's very little difference in her speech between the voices of the two main characters. At times its hard to remember who's suppose to be talking. It's the narrator which causes me to give the book less than perfect number of stars. I only wish Mary Kay would write more in this series.

Finally a good narrator

I loved all of the Weezie and BeBe books but this is the first one to which I enjoyed listening. The characters don't sound as cartoonish as in the past books and Weezie and BeBe sound less harsh and edgy, more "steel magnolia" like I imagined they would.
